The line-up for Australia's Big Day Out festival has been confirmed for 2013 - the first year the music festival won't make the trip over the Tasman to Auckland.
As was widely rumoured, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be headlining a bill that will also include The Killers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Vampire Weekend and Sleigh Bells.
The official line-up - which will perform in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Gold Coast - also includes Childish Gambino, Band of Horses and Animal Collective.
The Big Day Out axed Auckland from its line-up after poor sales at this year's January event, which included the bands Soundgarden, Kasabian and My Chemical Romance.
Kanye West was originally on the bill, but was removed after a widely reported split between the Big Day Out's promoters forced Ken West to downgrade the Perth, Adelaide and Auckland legs.
