Police officers in the South Island have issued an important message to the public: Don't spoil Game of Thrones for them.
In a post on their Facebook page, Canterbury police warned that while spoiling Game of Thrones is not an offence, it's "not cool at all".
"Just remember folks, it is NOT an offence to publish Game of Thrones spoilers. It's not cool. Not cool at all, but not an offence," they wrote.
"NYPD LAPD Headquarters - we're looking at you. Queensland Police Service NSW Police Force - promise we won't tell you what happens, seeing as you're behind us and all.
"Please don't ring us if this happens. And in case you were wondering, we're all in for House Targaryen. No way anyone in the Mainland thinks a King in the North is a good idea. And because dragons."
