Ross Carbin is now Jordan Mauger's love guru.
A Kiwi dad's straight up advice for Bachelor Jordan Mauger to, "run like hell" has prompted a response from the heart-throb.
Wellington man Ross Carbin was "interviewed" by his daughter Kelly Carbin, following this week's episodes of The Bachelor NZ.
Grasping a remote control microphone she pretended to quiz her camera shy father about his thoughts on the reality TV show, in which Mauger must whittle down a group of 23 potential love interests to just one.
"Tonight we are live with Ross Carbin. Ross, what are your thoughts on The Bachelor?" Kelly asks.
"Oh the poor bugger, run like hell son and don't look back," Ross replied.
The clip was later posted to Facebook and picked up by Mauger who responded in a similarly dry manner - whilst speaking into a pink-tipped hairbrush.
During a short video, sent by the Bach to Kelly via social media, he acknowledges the tip and asks for some more pearls of wisdom.
"Gidday Ross Carbin, Jordan here, thanks for the advice mate, I'd appreciate any more if you've got some for me. So I'm looking forward to hearing from ya."

Having asked permission to upload the reply to her Facebook page Kelly wrote an
accompanying post: "So guys Jordan The Bachelor New Zealand loved Dad's advice and wants more.
"He has asked me for weekly interviews with Ross Carbin. If you have any good interview questions put them in the comments below".
