Music fans looking to begin their Big Day Out celebrations early will be spoilt for choice.
The Big Night In, to be held at the King's Arms on January 19, will be headlined by Unknown Mortal Orchestra and will also include sets from Ghost Wave and She's So Rad.
The show will be among the first to feature UMO's new drummer, Kody Neilson, who joins his former Mint Chicks band mate and brother Ruban in the band.
That's not the only show being held the night before the Big Day Out, with controversial hip-hop group Odd Future performing at the Powerstation.
The Big Day Out is being held on January 20 at Mt Smart Stadium and will include Soundgarden, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Nero, Kasabian and Foster the People.
