Kim Kardashian's ex Kris Humphries has been called the "husband from hell".
The 26-year old basketball player was "downright cruel" to his 31-year-old bride, according to US Weekly.
"He belittled her in front of people," a source told the US magazine. "He'd call her stupid. It was truly sickening."
"He tried to control Kim by bringing her down ... He would say truly terrible things. One time, he said she had no talent and her fame wouldn't last."
Some of Humphries' cruelty was caught on camera. In an advertisment for Kim & Kourtney Take New York, Kardashian is seen arguing with Humphries about how she could have a career if she lived in Minnesota. Humphries said by the time Kardashian had kids, no one will care about her anymore.
