Caitlyn Jenner has branded his stepdaughter's ex-husband Kris Humphries an "idiot" after he sent out a tweet following the Diane Sawyer interview in April.
Following the interview, Humphries - former husband of Kim Kardashian West - sent a tweet reading: "Man, I'm glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou."
The basketball player went on to clarify and apologise for his comments but in a new clip from I am Cait, Jenner calls Humphries an idiot as she opens up about how it made her feel.
"Kris... idiot Humphries tweets, 'Thank God I got out of that family in time.' And just got absolutely ripped, just ripped," she tells ex-partner of Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick. "To the point that four hours later, he had to apologise."
Meanwhile, Kris Humphries believes Kim Kardashian West was responsible for the comments made by Jenner.
A source said: "Kris thinks Kim was behind this latest reality show stunt. And that she encouraged Caitlyn to bring it up for the show.
"It's just disgusting for him, because anyone that knows Kris will tell you he is the most accepting person, and has been a supporter of the LGBT community for a very long time.
"The name-calling is a bit over the top. If Kris had called Caitlyn an idiot, it would have been deemed transphobic. You don't hear anyone calling Caitlyn out for the name-calling, and that is a double standard."
And the insider has claimed Humphries feels "sad" for Caitlyn - who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition - as she was unable to live true to herself.
