February 22 would have been the 72nd birthday of the grandfather Saint will never get to meet - OJ Simpson's lawyer Robert Kardashian - and it is obviously a date Kim wanted to remember.
On her website she added a further tribute to the patriarch of the Kardashian clan, who died from esophageal cancer in September 2003.
"Happy Birthday dad!" she wrote. "I can't believe you would have been 72 today.
"So much has gone on in our lives since you've been gone, and I know you have been my guardian angel seeing everything unfold! I love you and miss you so much!"
Kim and her husband Kanye West welcomed their son back on December 5, but had not released any images of the infant's face until now.
Kim previously teased fans by sharing a photo of Saint's hand clutching the finger of his big sister North, two.
Kim captioned it: "She said 'He's my best friend.'"
Their reticence when it comes to Saint is perhaps a surprise for the fame-loving pair.
Indeed viewers of Keeping Up With The Kardashians were given an insight into every moment prior to Saint's arrival, from Kim's distress over her initial failure to conceive, to her breaking the news of a positive pregnancy test to her family, to the moment her waters broke.
Though this is the first time fans have seen Saint's face, family friend Malika Haqq previously revealed she thought the infant looked like his older sister, while Kim joked he was "cute" - just like her.
During a livestream with her brother Rob Kardashian, she said: "He's so cute, you guys, you have no idea. He looks kinda like just like me, don't you think?
"He's so cute - he looks just like me!"
Kim, Kanye and North were spotted out together in West Hollywood on Sunday, shopping for baby furniture with their friends John Legend and his pregnant wife Chrissy Teigen.
Kim delighted her fans by sharing a snapshot of father and daughter sound asleep on furniture in posh baby boutique Bel Bambini.
"So today we went baby shopping with @johnlegend & @chrissyteigen Kanye & North were a little too quiet," the reality star captioned the photo. "We found them passed out in the middle of the store."
Referencing Kanye's new album, which has just been released on TIDAL, she added the hashtag: '#TheRealLifeOfPablo.'
