Kardashian recently let it be known that since dating West, 35, she's "ready to be less open" about her relationships.
The E! star was quoted in DuJour magazine as saying that West had taught her "a lot about privacy", and that she's looking at "shifting" her priorities.
Needless to say, the juicy quotes had several media outlets in a spin, predicting that Kardashian is planning to quit her reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
She told the mag: "I think there's always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life. It's all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again.
"I'm realising that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you're actually living it, it could be completely different."
Kardashian continued: "My boyfriend has taught me a lot about privacy. I'm ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I'm realising everyone doesn't need to know everything. I'm shifting my priorities."
Shortly after the quotes hit the headlines, Kardashian took to her blog to set the record straight.
"I know that many of you have read the DuJour magazine interview I just did," she wrote in a post addressed to her fans.
"In the article, I was asked about continuing on with Keeping Up with the Kardashians. As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10."
She continued: "The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it's a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it. It has given me such a rare opportunity to share more of my life with all of you and has brought my family closer to each other.
"I'm looking forward to the new season and beyond. The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don't know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I'm looking forward to continuing this journey."
In a later post, she also trashed speculation that West has put the brakes on her interacting with fans.
"It's not uncommon for the media to take things you say in an interview out of context, or twist them to make a story more interesting. In a recent interview I was asked what Kanye had taught me that I value the most. I said privacy," she wrote.
"I have learned to understand that it's important to have boundaries, especially when we are having a private date night dinner. So if someone came up to the table at dinner, I used to get up, take pics and sign an autograph in the middle of our meal. Now, I know that this time is our private time, and I absolutely will as soon as I'm done eating! It's not that he won't let me sign autographs for my fans... far from it! Just as soon as we're done! Totally understandable!"
She added: "I have learned to understand the importance of privacy and boundaries, something that I haven't really learned to embrace before.
"I adore my fans so much, and hate that sometimes things get twisted to seem a different way! I hope this makes sense!"
'IT JUST FEELS LIKE THIS IS IT FOR ME'
Meanwhile, Kardashian opens up about her relationship with West in the April issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.
In the interview, Kardashian maintains that she and West are in no rush to head to the altar.
"[Marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don't have this sense of urgency about it," she reveals. "I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me."
She also says the timing is right for motherhood.
"I've always said that I wanted kids, but I don't think I ever would have been ready until now," adding that she used to criticise her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, for having children before marriage.
"I was like, 'You're not married! How could you do this?' I was really firm and strict. But she was like, 'Marriage isn't what I want.' And later, I realised she had a better family life than I did."
On how her relationship with West evolved, she shares: "Sometimes you're just not ready. A person could have it all, and you're not ready for it all. But this is where I probably always should have been."
She adds, "I used to think, Well, can you really have it all? The truth, the excitement, and the passion? Now I know you can."
Over the weekend, a report claimed that Kardashian and West are having a baby girl.
"They're over the moon!" a source close to the couple told Us Weekly. "Kanye always wanted a girl."
There's been no official comment from either of their reps on the report.
The reality TV star and West have been dating since April 2012. Their new arrival is due in July.
Kardashian famously pulled the proverbial plug on her 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries in October 2011. The former couple is currently embroiled in a slow-moving divorce battle.
