Khalid to play Spark Arena after Auckland Town Hall sells out

Due to overwhelming demand, Khalid is ditching Auckland Town Hall in order to move to a bigger venue after his show sold out in 10 minutes last Wednesday.

Khalid's American Teen Tour will now take place at Spark Arena with new tickets to go on sale tomorrow.

It's little wonder the star sold out so fast; he's been on pretty much every "up-and-coming artists" list this year with fans and critics praising his soulful vocals, impressive production and honest, new-age story telling.

His first single Location has garnered more than 227 million Spotify streams and latest single Young Dumb & Broke has more than 57 million plays.

And on top of all that, he'll be coming to New Zealand off the back of entirely sold out tours across the USA and Europe earlier this year.
