In the wake of multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault against actor Kevin Spacey, his publicist and talent agency will no longer represent him, the Los Angeles Times is reporting.
The high-powered talent agency CAA and publicist Staci Wolfe, owner of Polaris Public Relations, are ending their relationships with Spacey, according to sources.
It comes as Vulture reports claims from a 48-year-old artist who said he labelled Spacey "a paedophile", saying they had a relationship when he was 14 and Spacey was 24, reports News.com.au.
He told Vulture magazine that he first met Spacey in 1981 while attending a weekend acting class in Westchester County in New York.
Two years later he claims he bumped into Spacey in New York's Central Park. He was 14 at the time.
"I told him I didn't want that, he went again to do it, I told him no, he went again and pushed harder and grabbed me and pushed harder.
"I don't know how I would see that as anything besides an attempted rape, which I was able to thwart."
The alleged victim claimed: "He is a paedophile."
Spacey's lawyer told the magazine: "Mr Spacey absolutely denies the allegations."
Vulture said it was able to verify much of the man's account.
House of Cards staff detail Spacey behaviour
The latest development came after a former House of Cards production assistant claims Kevin Spacey sexually assaulted him, and several of the show's crew members alleged the star displayed "predatory" behaviour on set, local media reports.
Spacey "put his hands down the production assistant's pants" and later "cornered him" in his trailer, blocking his exit while making inappropriate contact, according to a report by broadcaster CNN.
Eight people who currently work or previously worked on the show also made accusations about a "'toxic' work environment" they say Spacey created "through a pattern of sexual harassment."
They said Spacey targeted young men and that incidents included "nonconsensual touching" and "crude comments."
Netflix announced on Tuesday that it had shut down the production of the sixth and last season of House of Cards indefinitely.
Spacey's publicist, who has since parted ways with the actor, according to a report on website Deadline Hollywood, also said the 58-year-old is currently seeking "evaluation and treatment."
Spacey's oscar chances put on backburner
Meanwhile, EW reports that Spacey's performance in the movie All The Money In The World will unlikely score him an Oscar nomination.
Spacey is virtually unrecognisable as he played 81-year-old oil tycoon J. Paul Getty, whose grandson is kidnapped and who is forced to decide whether he should pay the ransom.
In an interview with EW, the Academy Award winner gushed over the performance, saying: 'It was one of the most remarkable experiences that I've had as an actor.'
But now Sony's previous plans to place that performance at the front of their promotional efforts will 'shift' - although the studio has not announced any change to the film's December 22 release date.
The movie also stars Michelle Williams and Mark Walhberg.
Spacey's time at Old Vic examined
Incidents are also alleged to have taken place in Britain while Spacey was the artistic director at the Old Vic in London between 2004 and 2015.
Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos, who acted in several plays at the theatre, claims Spacey "routinely preyed" on young male actors.
"It seems the only requirement was to be a male under the age of 30 for Mr Spacey to feel free to touch us," he wrote in a Facebook post.
He said he fended off two "unpleasant" advances from Spacey that "bordered on harassment," but that others were afraid to do so.
Rent star exposed Spacey's history
On Sunday, actor Anthony Rapp alleged in a BuzzFeed interview that the Hollywood star made unwanted sexual advances towards him when he was a teenager.
