After scoring bit parts in The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, Keisha Castle-Hughes' Hollywood career is going from strength to strength.
And it hasn't stopped there: the Whale Rider actress is set to star in the pilot for a new TV show helmed by director Cameron Crowe.
Called Roadies,The Hollywood Reporter says the comedy will follow the crew behind a successful rock touring act.
Castle-Hughes is pegged to play "the band's outspoken and passionate sound mixer Donna Mancini, who every day leads her road family in their favorite ritual, The Song of the Day".
Set to air on Showtime, other actors involved include Luke Wilson, Imogen Poots, Peter Cambor and Rafe Spall.
Crowe, who won an Oscar for his work on the 2000 film Almost Famous, will write and direct the pilot, THR reports. JJ Abrams is credited as an executive producer.
Castle-Hughes was last seen on TV here a few weeks ago, with a gruesome bit part on The Walking Dead as a woman who gets infected and turns into a zombie.
She is also due to be seen in the next season of Game of Thrones, due for release in early 2015.
