Katy Perry has advised a bride-to-be not to get married.
The 27-year-old pop star - who split from ex-husband Russell Brand in December after 14 months of marriage - crashed Laura Cooney's hen party in Mahiki nightclub in London's Mayfair on Saturday night and told her, "Don't do it".
Laura said: "We were drinking in Mahiki and Katy was dancing nearby. She ran up to me, saying 'Don't do it! Don't get married!'
"I said, 'I'd thought you'd say that!' She suddenly caught herself and said, 'No, really ... congratulations.' She chatted to me for about 10 minutes. Katy was really, really sweet. She wished me luck."
Katy was left angry and hurt by the end of her marriage to Russell, 36, and pals of the Part of Me singer don't believe she will be able to be friends with the British comedian in the wake of their separation.
