Katy Perry freaks out meeting Jennifer Lawrence on the red carpet

Singer Katy Perry has a fangirl moment meeting Jennifer Lawrence at the Golden Globes.

After an awkward hug the pair talk talk wigs, breasts and J-Law's new film Joy on the red carpet.

Wearing a pink Prada dress and sporting a beehive hairdo, Perry spoke to E! host Ryan Seacrest about her Golden Globes presenting job and chesty outfit.

"They asked me to present Best Song so I got my wig out and, uh, my Globes," Perry said, pointing to her breasts.

Perry was then joined by Lawrence with the pair enjoying a good old chinwag live on air.

They laughed about Perry's hairdo before discussing David O Russell's film Joy, that star's Lawrence as billionaire entrepreneur Joy Mangano.

"I saw it alone by myself in Santa Barbra in my Victoria's Secret pink sweats..." Perry told Lawrence.

"This is a sad story," Lawrence butted in.

Perry continued: " ... I was like 'I can make it in the world, you inspire me'."

"Oh honey, you've already made it," Lawrence reassured her.

Jennifer Lawrence won a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture for Joy at the 73rd annual awards ceremony being held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
