Katy Perry has denied rumours that she is planning to write a book about her relationship with Russell Brand.

There had been speculation that the singer had signed a STG2 million ($NZ3.6 million) deal to reveal all on the 14-month marriage and her new romance with musician John Mayer, but her spokesman quashed the claims.

"No book, no deal," they told the Huffington Post.

There are now rumours swirling that Perry and Mayer are no longer together either.

It had been thought that Perry - who addressed the breakdown of the relationship in her 3D concert movie, Katy Perry: Part Of Me - had agreed to tackle the subject about her ex-husband, who she filed for divorce from in February 2012.

There have also been claims that the British comedian will reportedly address the divorce in his next memoir, a follow-up to My Booky Wook.
