Katy Perry confirms opening act for New Zealand shows

Katy Perry announced this week that German DJ, Zedd, will join her on the Witness tour.

Katy Perry has added another high class act to her Witness Tour which is due in New Zealand soon.

Perry announced this week that German DJ, Zedd, will be joining her for her two Auckland shows on August 20 and 21.

Zedd announced his arrival on the electronic music scene with the hit song Clarity. He has since accumulated multiple platinum records and a Grammy award.

Perry's shows that have been touring through the UK and Europe have already been described as quite the spectacle.

"If there's one thing that you can be sure of when going to a Katy Perry concert, it's that you should prepare for a bewitching spectacle like no other," says The Independent's Sabrina Barr.

Perry fans in New Zealand will hope that Zedd will only add to the excitement of her two shows.
