British rockers Kasabian have confirmed they're performing at next year's Big Day Out festival in New Zealand and Australia.
The band, which released its fourth album Velociraptor! earlier this month, told an Adeleide magazine it would be performing second-to-last on the Australasian festival's main stage, Fasterlouder.com.au reported.
"We'redoing the Big Day Out and I think we're second before the headliners, which is amazing," front man Tom Meighan told street magazine Rip It Up.
If it's true, it will be Kasabian's third Big Day Out festival following appearances in 2007 and 2010.
Meighan said he was looking forward to playing an evening slot, rather than the early afternoon times they'd been given previously.
Queens of the Stone Age, PJ Harvey and The Horrors have also been suggested as potential additions to the line-up, set for Mt Smart Stadium in January, 2012.
