Kanye West's studio burgled of gear worth up to $30,000

Kanye West's studio has been robbed of equipment worth nearly $30,000.

According to TMZ, local law enforcement got the call to West's Calabasas office earlier in the week.

Apparently a door had been pried open during the night and thieves made off with laptops and desktop computers.

The gear has already been replaced and no sensitive information - or any of Kanye's music - was lost, thanks to some "heavy-duty tech security", TMZ reports.

TMZ adds West's team believe the burglary to be someone the rapper knows, "someone with direct knowledge of what was in the space".
