Kanye West, who has kept a very low profile since he cancelled his tour following onstage rants and hospitalisation for stress and exhaustion, showed up in the most public of places Tuesday: Trump Tower.
Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks told reporters that West came to Trump Tower to "meet with the president-elect."
Then, Donald Trump came down the elevator, took pictures with the rapper and told reporters, "He's a good friend. ... We've been friends for a long time." Trump added that the two discussed "life."
Um. Why?
Well, maybe it has to do with the praise West offered Trump following the election, declaring onstage in San Jose that he would have voted for the Republican -- had West voted at all. (His wife, Kim Kardashian, was a vocal Hillary Clinton supporter.)
