Kanye West claims he is $53 million in debt - and he wants Mark Zuckerberg to bail him out.
The 38-year-old rap star begged the Facebook founder on Twitter to give him $US1billion just days after he told the world about his personal finances.
West's plea is just the latest in a series of attention-grabbing tweets, which have suspiciously coincided with the release of his new album, The Life of Pablo.
He first raised eyebrows last week when he tweeted that Bill Cosby was innocent. Then, moments before he was due to appear on the American TV show Saturday Night Live he told the world he was up to his neck in debt.
West said: "Let's dance in the streets. I am consumed by my purpose to help the world.
West also came out in support of Caitlyn Jenner, after she attended his show at Madison Square Garden in New York, when he debuted his new album The Life of Pablo and his latest fashion collection.
Alongside a photograph of himself and Jenner, West wrote: "I'm proud of this picture with me and Caitlyn... She gave the most heart felt speech at my wedding.
"and was there in full support to see me realize this dream... (sic)"
His tweets come as one of his musical collaborators quit working with him, saying West needed "spiritual and mental" help.
Rhymefest wrote on Twitter that, "My brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental. He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal."
He added: "His mind and spirit isn't right."
The Australian site cited a 'heightened threat level' as the issue.
