"Oh my god!" That's all Kaley Cuoco could say after she found out she'd been nominated for her first Emmy award.
The actress shared a sweet video on Instagram of her reaction to the nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category for The Flight Attendant, which streams on Binge.
"Oh my god! I have no voice to say how happy I am!" Cuoco said with a raspy voice.
The former Big Bang Theory star posted the video with the caption: "First timer over here – thank you @televisionacad for a moment I will never forget. Nine nods for team @flightattendantonmax. Thank you thank you to my entire flight crew! Surreal."
As Cuoco mentioned, The Flight Attendant was nominated for nine Emmys including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Rosie Perez.
The Flight Attendant is based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian.
The show was made by Cuoco's production company, Yes, Norman Productions, and Cuoco also served as an executive producer.
Last November she told news.com.au: "Any project I was going to choose after Big Bang I knew was going to get a lot of attention, good or bad, no matter what I chose people would have thought it was either a good idea or not.
"I wasn't necessarily looking for this sort of drama or character but I knew that the right project … I would know deep in my gut. So when I saw the book (of the same name) three years ago I simply thought, 'Wow, this could be a great character for TV.'
"It wasn't me trying to get away from Big Bang, or move on – it just felt like the right move. "And the icing on top was I had all these different emotions. I got to play action, adventure, mystery, emotion, but also moments of laughter," she said.
Cuoco has enjoyed major success in her post Big Bang breakout role, being nominated for Best Actress - Comedy gongs at the Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Awards and the Critics Choice Television Awards.
