KEY POINTS:
Dozens of disappointed Justin Timberlake fans missed out on tickets to the pop star's two New Zealand concerts this morning, as tickets sold out in just minutes.
Tickets to the first Vector Arena concert - on October 23 - went on sale at 9am this morning.
Ten minutes later the TicketMaster website displayed a message saying the allocation was exhausted.
Tickets to a second show - on October 24 - were then released five minutes later, and were all gone by 9.30am.
Angry fans have contacted the Herald upset that promoters did not announce when tickets to the second show would go on sale.
A spokeperson for Real Groovy said there were moderate queues of people waiting for tickets this morning, but nothing like those which formed for the U2 concerts in 2005.
She said tickets to both concerts were sold out by 9.45am.
Less than an hour after the tickets went on sale there were already more than 40 listings for Justin Timberlake tickets on TradeMe.
Bids on a pair of GA tickets have already reached $400.
TradeMe head of business Mike O'Donnell said some auctions listed earlier in the week had been cancelled as the vendors were not in possession of the tickets.
However, today's listings are valid as many people bought tickets in-person and are in possession of the physical tickets, he said.
TradeMe requires proof of goods, such as a photo, and if people are concerned about a specific listing, Mr O'Donnell said they should contact TradeMe.
