Letterman told Bieber he "saw red" when he first heard about Yeater's accusations, adding that he could "smell a weasel".
"I could smell a weasel too, a little bit... It's pretty crazy [that] people make up false accusations," Bieber said. "It's gonna happen. Being in the spotlight, people can say whatever."
Watch Bieber discuss the paternity test below:
According to TMZ, Bieber's alleged 20-year-old baby mama will now submit her baby for DNA testing.
But wait just one cotton-picking minute, Beliebers ...
Yeater's lawyer Jeffrey Leving says he has a "big problem" with the DNA test that the Baby singer has already taken.
What's his beef? The website reports that Leving is iffy about the test because a member of his legal team was not present while it was administered, "and he has no idea if the test was done using proper controls".
Leving echoed the DNA drama to E! News.
"We have been negotiating a DNA test," he said. "We just received communication from Justin Bieber's lawyer today concerning our discussions, which are private.
"We are trying to set up a DNA test - to test the mother and the child and to retest Justin Bieber. Because we have to make sure the chain of custody is properly supervised," he added.
"I wasn't aware Justin Bieber was allegedly taking a DNA test until I read about it," he continues.
"I don't know if it was even his DNA. Evidence has to be properly supervised to make sure it is not corrupted. What I am hoping is to get DNA testing done for everybody and to have it done in a supervised setting."
Although Yeater has dropped her lawsuit against Bieber, Leving claims they plan to pursue the matter privately.
"We are trying to do this outside of court. If it can't be done out of court, then the only other option is to refile," he concluded.
Bieber has vehemently denied the allegations, branding them "malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false".
He said during a recent interview: "I'd just like to say, basically, that none of those allegations are true. I know that I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim.
"It's crazy. Every night after the show I'm gone right from the stage right to the car, so it's crazy that some people want to make such false allegations," Bieber said. "To set the record straight, none of it is true."
