Justin Bieber has insisted he has never even met the girl who alleges that he fathered her baby.
In his first interview on her claims, the teenage pop star said that the first time he had heard Mariah Yeater's name was when she sued him and demanded a DNA test.
He said it was 'crazy' that she would make up such a story, adding: "I know that I'm gonna be a target - but I'm never gonna be a victim.'
His comments came as further details emerged about Miss Yeater, including how she was hauled to court on a battery charge while pregnant with what she claims is Bieber's son.
She also reportedly considered giving the baby up for adoption.
Miss Yeater, 20, claims that 17-year-old Bieber - a devout Christian - fathered the child in a liaison in a bathroom backstage after a show at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on October 25 last year. She says that he told her it was "his first time' but later ignored her attempts to contact him following the birth of Tristyn Anthony on July 6.
