Josh Brolin wishes police had released a different mug shot of him.
The Men In Black 3 actor was arrested on New Year's Day for public intoxication in Santa Monica, California, and although Josh describes the night as "fun", he is still embarrassed by the "awful" photograph they released of him in the station.
Speaking on Good Morning America today he explained: "I'm the one guy who's out there and they go, 'Hey, that's Josh. Let's grab him.' It was New Year's. It was a pretty innocent thing. It was a fun thing. [The police] were actually very sweet to me.
"The most awful thing about is you see this shot of me like this and they don't show you the other shot when I turn and have a huge smile on my face ... whatever."
Brolin - who plays a police officer in his new film Gangster Squad alongside Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn - also explained that why he didn't always want to be an actor, he soon realised his chosen career was similar to one he originally sought after.
