Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays drums in a New York subway station - and barely anyone notices.
Privacy could be a rare and precious thing for an A-list film star such as Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who has spent the majority of his life on the big screen.
However it seems Gordon-Levitt has more freedom than that afforded to many people.
He can, for instance, set up a drumkit on the platform of a subway station in New York, vigorously play it, and few people will turn their heads.
Lydia Nohemi Drexler posted, "The funniest thing is New Yorkers are passing by like, oh look another famous guy playing drums in the subway, whatever I'm late to work".
Gordon-Levitt donned a dapper suit and started bashing away on his cymbals as part of his project HitRecord, a video-based social network and uploads site.
As part of a collaboration with LG, Gordon-Levitt was drumming to encourage other musicians to follow his lead and upload video of them performing.
