Raising the stakes in the no-holds-barred PR war between her and ex
Peter Andre
, the attention-seeker, also known as
Jordan
, 31, rocked up with a bunch of her man friends for the London launch of her new style book,
Standing Out
, yesterday - in drag.
Jordan, in one of those 'I see what you did there' moments, took gaudy to another level and persuaded her cage-fighter lover,
Alex Reid
, 34, to drag it up and step out in her clothes for the launch.
Here come the men in drag...

In the wake of those naughty
, Reid, under Jordan's iron-fisted instruction no doubt, dolled up as her alter-ego in matching gold lycra, a flowing black wig, and garish make-up.
While the object of his desire opted for a platinum-blonde
Marilyn Monroe
-style wig, floor-length red gown and oodles of slap.
Some of her other male chums were happy to be in on the gag, too. Close pal
Phil Turner
poured into a yellow and black catsuit, while her riding instructor
Andrew Gould
opted for a pink crop top from her equestrian clothing range.
Brother
Daniel
chose the most controversial *tongue firmly in cheek* outfit of all - a replica of the same outfit his sis wore at her wedding to Andre.
The whole 'shocking' ensemble was part of Jordan's masterplan to create the "stunt to end all stunts" to promote her new book, she said.
On the day her divorce from Andre was expected to be final, she explained the stunt: "This is all tongue in cheek. It's all a bit of fun and we really enjoyed it."
Not half as much as we did.
And on her latest page-turner chronicling her slew of sartorial sins over the years, she said: 'If you don't want to look like me don't get the book.'
'I've dressed up as a woman, and it's a laugh'
Fuelling the cross-dressing rumours, Reid recently spilled to
Ok!
magazine that he likes to dress up on "special occasions".
"It's a bit of fun - I've dressed up as a woman, and it's a laugh.
"If I go out and wear a dress, so f****** what? I bet loads of people who s**g me off are secretly harbouring some desire that they're too scared to admit or experience."
He added: "I'm very gay! I love the world! I'm trisexual, I'll try anything ... I am just a man who is in love with his girlfriend."
Sue you
Meanwhile, Andre has hit back at Jordan's claims that he had an affair with his manager.
The
Mysterious Girl
singer released a statement after his ex suggested on UK TV that he had more than just a professional relationship with
Claire Powell
.
Andre fumed: "I am making this statement to put the record straight regarding the outrageous claims and lies that have been put into the public domain by my ex-wife about my relationship with my manager, Claire Powell.
"I wish to make it perfectly clear for the record that my manager, Claire Powell, who I have known for the past 16 years, is my manager and a personal friend.
"She has never betrayed me or done anything other than support me, which is more than can be said for my ex wife.
"I have said once before that if anybody slanders my name I will not hesitate in taking legal action and that is exactly what both Claire and I will do."
Cor blimey, what a pantomime. Tell you what, this whole charade proves one point: You just can't buy class.
But we have to hand it to perpetual self-promoter Jordan. When it comes to conjuring up surefire ways to grab attention (and ultimately sell books), she's a force to be reckoned with.
