Peter Andre discovered he was homeless after returning to the UK last night.
The 'Mysterious girl' singer arrived back in the country to discover his estranged wife Katie Price had removed all his belongings from their Surrey home, in Southern England, and changed the code on their security alarm.
Peter, 36, had to spend the night at his manager's house and is now thinking about finding a new place to live.
A source said: "Kate's made it clear he can't go back to their current home and as they have technically sold their place in Brighton, Pete is homeless. His brothers are going to help him find a new pad, but it must be within a 30-minute drive of his kids."
The pop star flew back to England from Cyprus - where he was being comforted by his family – for crisis talks with Katie, who is flying back to the UK today from the Maldives.
The former glamour model headed there last week after the couple's break-up was announced and the pair are due to meet for crisis talks tomorrow – Katie's 31st birthday.
A source said: "It could turn out to be a most miserable birthday, the day they decide to go their separate ways.
"Kate says she wants to save her marriage but insists she's ready to move on if they can't work things out. They clearly have a lot of talking to do."
Peter had been refusing to speak to his wife since they split and turned down her offer to fly to Cyprus for talks.
He instead insisted they meet on neutral ground in the UK to talk about the children they raise together - son Junior, three, 23-month old daughter Princess Tiaamii and Katie's six-year-old son, Harvey, from a previous relationship.
Although Peter's family are keen for him to take Katie – known as Jordan back – it seems they are heading for a permanent split.
A source said: "They have both tried to keep the break-up as civilised as they can, but with emotions running so high, this has proven nigh-on impossible. I don't think either Pete or Kate wanted to divorce – but sadly that's the way it all seems to be heading."
