Jon Bon Jovi slams Kim Kardashian and 'horrific' celebrity culture

Jon Bon Jovi has taken aim at Kim Kardashian while blasting modern celebrity culture in a no-holds-barred new interview.

Speaking to The Sunday Project in Australia, the 56-year-old rocker let loose on the Kardashians, the Real Housewives franchise and fame in general.

"I think it's horrific that we live in that world and I can tell you I've never given 60 seconds of my life, ever, to one of those Housewives of Blah Blah and Kardashians," he said.

"I don't know their names, I've never watched 60 seconds of the show, it's not for me."

He then specifically called out Kim Kardashian, bringing up her infamous 2007 sex tape with Ray J, the exposure from which arguably helped launch her to superstardom.

"What's gonna be in your autobiography?" said Bon Jovi. "'I made a porno and guess what I got famous?' F**k, sorry, I'll pass.

"Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, play write. Fame is a byproduct of writing a good song."

However, fans will remember Bon Jovi actually tried to launch his own reality series back in 2015, titled If I Wasn't a Rock Star.

The idea was to follow famous rock stars as they returned to their hometowns to lead normal lives, but the show never got off the ground.

Kardashian, meanwhile, has gone on to head many various business ventures and mould herself into a global icon.
