Actor Johnny Depp has been relaxing on a luxury yacht in Ibiza as he prepares to face his estranged wife Amber Heard in court later this month.
Johnny Depp and his legal team are reportedly "locked and loaded" with a slew of witnesses and a secret photo to support his defence against domestic violence allegations.
The 53-year-old actor has been relaxing on a luxury yacht in Ibiza as he prepares to face his estranged wife Amber Heard in court later this month.
According to TMZ, Depp's lawyers have a never-before-seen photo and nearly 24 witnesses for the upcoming trial to support his claims that Heard is lying when she says he repeatedly "brutalised" her.
The 30-year-old actress filed for divorce after 15 months of marriage back in May, just days before she accused her husband of leaving her bruised when he threw an iPhone at her face during a row.
Among the witnesses, the two police officers who responded to the 911 call on May 21, the night Heard says Depp attacked her, are claimed to be on the list. It is reported that both officers will testify they saw no evidence of injury, nor was anything broken in the apartment where the incident is alleged to have taken place.
Five concierge workers from the building are also said to be on the list, all of whom saw the Rum Diary actress between May 21 and May 27, as well as two security guards who were in the unit on May 21.
The former couple's housekeeper, Hilda Vargas, will also give a testimony "about the discovery in the home".
Heard's publicist, Jodi Gottleib is also on the list, and the actress herself will also be called as a hostile witness.
According to the website, Depp's legal documents regarding the mysterious photo explain: "For privacy reasons, this exhibit is being served on petitioners [Heard and team] and will be supplied to the court at the time of hearing."
The Pirates of the Caribbean star's team is also reportedly planning on referring to a number of exhibits during the trial, including a report from Heard's own 2009 arrest on domestic violence claims, and documents from the infamous dog smuggling case. TMZ reports Depp's lawyers plan to accuse the actress of lying when she said she didn't know it was illegal to bring the dogs into Australia.
Heard was granted a temporary restraining order against Depp in May. She is seeking a permanent restraining order against the father-of-two.
Her legal team has also submitted their witness list, which includes close friend Raquel Pennington and Raquel's boyfriend, Joshua Drew, both of whom were in the apartment building on May 21, TMZ reports.
iO Tillett Wright, the woman who was on the phone to Heard when the alleged incident took place, is also on the list.
According to the website, Heard plans to submit video and audio of Depp interacting with her in their home, as well as photographic evidence that she sought medical care in the past.
