Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's court hearing set for today (17.06.16) has been postponed.
A hearing was scheduled to take place in connection with the Danish Girl actress' application for a restraining order against her estranged husband - who she accused of assaulting her after they split last month - but the Los Angeles County Court's public information officer has now confirmed to Us Weekly magazine it will no longer take place and no new date has been set yet.
According to the publication, the case will be continued, as requested by the Pirates of the Caribbean star's team.
A Los Angeles Superior Court spokeswoman says the temporary restraining order Amber Heard obtained against Johnny Depp will remain in effect until Aug. 15.
The matter originally was set to be heard Friday, but court spokeswoman Mary Hearn said Thursday the hearing has been postponed. She says such delays aren't unusual.
