New Zealand satirist and comedian John Clarke was honoured at Australia's prestigious 59th Annual TV Week Logies.
Clarke died earlier this month age 68 while hiking in the Grampians National Park in Victoria.
According to ABC News, Australian-based Kiwi comedian Tony Martin introduced a collection of clips from Clarke's career in last night's ceremony.
"Like a lot of people in this room, I was lucky enough to work very briefly with the great John Clarke," Martin said.
"The idea he won't be on TV this Friday pretending to be Malcolm Turnbull or Pauline Hanson is unacceptable. Lucky for us there are thousands of hours of John Clarke genius on the shelf for us to enjoy."
