Joey makes January a little more Bada$$

Joey Bada$$ will play a one-off show in January.

Joey Bada$$ has announced his return in January, adding another option to an already packed January concert line-up.

The Brooklyn rapper will perform at Auckland's Powerstation on January 12, his first show here since a sweat-drenched double bill with Run the Jewels in 2015.

Bada$$, whose real name is Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott, will be playing on the back of his acclaimed new album All-Amerikkkan Badass, including the singles For My People and Devastated.

Other acts touring in January include Fleet Foxes, SZA, Kelela, Cigarettes After Sex, Vince Staples, Kaytranada and DRAM.

Tickets go on sale on October 26. A Frontier Touring pre-sale for members begins on October 24.
