Jimmy Fallon was close to tears as he discussed David Bowie's death on Late Night last night.
The 41-year-old presenter started his show with a discussion of how shocked and upset he felt at the passing of the musical icon, who died of cancer on Sunday.
He said: "He was a great artist. One of a kind singer, songwriter, actor, fashion icon, mad genius who also had one of the greatest senses of humour of anyone I'd ever met."
Jimmy went on to admit he and the Starman hitmaker often traded jokes via email but he'd struggled to come up with something funny to say during his tribute.
He added: "So, I'm just gonna email you, David Bowie, and if you could check your email in space or in heaven, or wherever you are. You don't have to email me back."
