After splashing out $16,000 enhancing her breasts, Jessika Power is now showing off the results.
The Married At First Sight alumnus shared a series of painful-looking before and after photos of her procedure on Instagram, which involved taking "stubborn" fat from her thighs and injecting it into her bust.
Though she's thrilled with the "fullness" she's achieved after going from a B to a D cup, the photos of the procedure show her chest covered in bruises.
But Jess insists the procedure was "worth it", telling news.com.au it looks worse than it was.
"I know it looks sore, but it's just normal bruising from having a needle injected," she said.
"I bruise easily as I'm anaemic. However, my legs are still slightly bruised to this day."
The former MAFS star underwent surgery with Sydney based surgeon Dr Rastogi back in June, telling her 214,000 Instagram followers it didn't hurt at all.
"I think with any kind of surgery you're going to have a little bit of downtime with healing. I did have a little bit of bruising, but yeah, it was fine," she said in a Q&A session yesterday.
"I definitely feel like it was worth the money, I didn't want to have silicone boobs, not that there's anything wrong with that, I just didn't want it for myself. I had the smallest little bit of unwanted fat on my thighs, so two birds one stone."
"I went up two sizes from a B cup to a D cup, I'm really happy with the results," she said at the time.
She also revealed how the idea came about when she saw her surgeon to discuss having fat from her thighs removed.
"He was the one who said, 'You know, we're going to throw this fat in the bin, why don't I inject it into your breasts?'" Jess revealed.
BRUTAL BRUISING
Despite the surgery only requiring day admission into the clinic, photos of Jessika crashing a Logies afterparty with her thighs covered in bruises first showed the harsh effect it had on her body.
"I did have some bruising on the inner and outer of my thighs, and it was quite tender for two weeks," she explained.
"Why all the bruises?" a concerned follower asked.
CONFIDENCE BOOST
Jessika decided to have her bust boosted after losing "fullness" and weight from taking up F45. She said her public breakup with Dan Webb contributed to her transformation, causing her to shed 5kg and invest in her appearance.
But it also had an unexpected benefit.
"I didn't expect it to boost my confidence, but it definitely has, I feel a lot sexier. They're not too big, they're still perky, but I feel a lot more confident and a lot more of a woman," she said.
POST-BREAKUP SURGERY SPLURGE
Before appearing on the popular reality TV show, Jess' face had already been enhanced by a full set of veneers and lip filler. In total she's spent more than $50,000 on enhancing her features since filming wrapped.
She spent $25,000 in May having her porcelain teeth replaced after being "ridiculed" about them for being "blocky" — a tactic her previous dentist used to hide the fact she was born missing two teeth.
She spent a further $9000 having a brow lift, filler injected into her cheeks and the "smallest amount of Botox". Not to mention hair extensions and dying her signature blonde locks a playful pink.
"I had a brow lift recently because on the show I had quite bad bags. I also noticed on the show my cheeks looked shallow, which is why I had cheek filler in — it has plumped my face out and made it look fuller. I feel like I look healthier," she told news.com.au recently.
"But that's all I've had done — that's it. And everyone's like, 'It's fake, it's fake, it's plastic', which is annoying."
DEFENDING HER APPEARANCE
The 27-year-old gets extremely "annoyed" by people who credit her good looks to surgery.
"I've always been told I look fake, even prior to having anything done. And without sort of blowing my own horn, it's just because I am a pretty girl, people are calling me fake and putting my beauty down to procedures," she said.
"But I've had the smallest amount done. It's not like I've stuffed my face full of Botox. I can still frown, I can still move my face, so I'm not full fake — and it confuses me.
"I feel like any cosmetic procedure, even changing your hair colour, is a personal decision. I do things to make myself feel good."
And in regards to the cruel comments she receives, she takes them all in her stride — revealing that replying humorously to the nasty comments usually shuts them down.
"I think people love to put me down and hate on me, but I don't let it get to me," she said.
