You've seen her singing - and doing a fair bit of writhing - on some pretty prestigious stages (most recently at the MTV Video Music Awards) and now Britain's cross between Rihanna, Beyonce and Gwen Stefani is heading to NZ.
Twenty-year-old Jessie J (born Jessica Cornish) has had an impressive year, following up her hit debut single Do It Like A Dude, with the likes of Price Tag (a number one in NZ), Domino and debut album Who You Are.
Not only does she have a hurricane of a voice - a review in The Daily Telegraph of a recent London performance said "She has a voice that could be adapted as a military weapon" - but the songwriting chops to match.
She's written tracks for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown and Christina Aguilera, as well as her own chart-topping efforts and one of her tracks, Party in the USA, was picked up by Miley Cyrus and became one of the Disney teen queen's biggest songs.
Jessie J plays Vector Arena on February 28, and tickets go on sale tomorrow at 9am through Ticketmaster.
