Thousands of young fans were disappointed to learn that an award-winning UK artist announced that she had cancelled her New Zealand gig just days before the event.
A chest infection got in the way of chart-topper Jess Glynne's visit to our shores. She was set to perform alongside popular band Rudimental on Wednesday at Auckland's Vector Arena.
The artist is following doctor's orders, she said in a statement.
Glynne said she had been given the okay to perform in Brisbane on Saturday.
Around 5000 people were expected to attend the concert, said Heidi Ettema, the publicity and promotions co-ordinator of tour presenter Frontier Touring.
