TV presenter Jesse Mulligan scripted his own vows when he married longtime sweetheart Victoria Dawson-Wheeler this week.
Among the promises were to be always on her team, have her back and to show their two daughters what true love looks like.
The Seven Sharp presenter, 38, and his bride, 33, have known each other for 10 years and were engaged for 3 years when they finally decided in December to set a date.
About 60 guests enjoyed the wedding at a private home and garden in Grey Lynn on Monday. Victoria wore a vintage couture dress and comedian Jeremy Corbett was among the guests. Mulligan told New Idea: "It was beyond perfect. Every moment was flawlessly exciting. Aside from the birth of my two daughters, it was the best day of my life. No question."
