It's over: Sandra Bullock is a free woman and has legally emancipated herself from her failed marriage to Jesse James. The pair has officially divorced, according to reports.
Gossip website TMZ reports that the 45-year-old actress and her cheating, bad boy biker of an ex-husband signed their divorce papers in Texas last week, pulling the proverbial plug on their five-year marriage.
Bullock filed for divorce on April 23, stating that their marriage had become "insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."
That's legalese for 'you crossed a line, you two-timing Vanilla Gorilla. I'm on a sleigh ride to singlehood!'
The divorce petition was filed a month after lurid tabloid revelations linking James to tattooed creature Michelle McGee and other women. Oh yes, there were supposedly more. He is alleged to have slept with at least four other women while being married to Bullock.
While the divorce rumbled on, Bullock revealed that she and James had been in the process of adopting a three-month-old baby boy from New Orleans before the split.
Sources say that now the divorce is final, Bullock will complete her single parent adoption of Louis Bardo.
Word is Bullock's relatively swift divorce is down to her filing the petition in Texas. The state allows separating couples to divorce in as few as 60 days.
Good luck to you, Bullock. Enjoy being single and don't look back. As my lovely grandmother used to say: "If you look back for too long, you'll get a stiff neck."

Michael Douglas is having a spot of bother with his ex-wife, Diandra. She's after his Wall Street dough!
The actor is being sued by his ex, who is claiming that she is entitled to 50 per cent of his earnings from upcoming movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps as part of her divorce settlement.
The lawsuit hinges on a clause in their divorce deal which states she gets half of Douglas' dough from any movie he made - including residuals, merchandising and ancillary rights - during their two-decade marriage. Diandra's lawyer says that also covers sequels.
Oh dear, greed, for lack of a better word, is not good.
Bad boy Klein
Shamed American Pie star Chris Klein has been charged with two misdemeanour counts stemming from his DUI arrest earlier this month.
Reports claim Klein was three times the legal limit when he was arrested after cops spotted his car weaving between lanes on the Hollywood Freeway in Los Angeles.
Klein's been charged with one count of driving under the influence and another for driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher (his was .24).
The star, currently in rehab, is due in court on July 9.
