Actor Jeremy Renner is heading into the ring to play legendary boxer Rocky Marciano in an upcoming biopic.
The Avengers star will portray the champion in a film titled Undefeated: The Rocky Marciano Story, marking the first authorised movie based on his life.
The biopic will follow Marciano from his childhood and throughout his successful career as a heavyweight king, and as the only boxer to retire from his professional career undefeated, 49-0.
Marciano died on the eve of his 46th birthday in 1969, when the plane he was flying in crashed in Iowa.
