Forget the Hunger Games, Jennifer Lawrence is sinking her teeth into the horror genre and her new trailer looks terrifying.
In Mother!, Lawrence plays a young woman who has just moved into and renovated an old house with her partner, played by Javier Bardem.
It's a classic horror film set up, but rather than ghosts and ghouls turning things upside down, Jlaw's world is upended by the arrival of some mysterious guests, played by Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer.
The pair make themselves at home and things proceed to get weirder and weirder as we're treated to images of blood-filled lightbulbs, a mob of people storming the front door, and all kinds of strange goings on, including a mysterious black shadow spreading throughout the house.
That, and the film's score is delightfully creepy, plus it's directed by Darren Aronofsky, the man behind films like Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan.
