Jennifer Lawrence fell out with Joy director David O. Russell after she was asked to sing on screen.
Lawrence became embroiled in a major row with director David O. Russell while they were filming their latest movie collaboration Joy, and the actress has now revealed the argument was sparked by a singing scene.
She was reluctant to show off her voice on camera, and was "very rude" and "grumpy" on set.
"It was a fight," Lawrence told Access Hollywood.
"But it's also like, once I get hired for a movie, I have to do what I came to do. I can argue and say I don't want to do it, but I have to do it. I didn't do it (the singing scene) very willingly. I didn't have a good attitude about it. I was very rude, very grumpy and very mean to David. He'd try to come over and whisper 'Merry Christmas' to make me feel better and I told him to get away from me."
