Jemaine Clement stands up for NZ orange voting mascot in Twitter spat

We've learned to love Orange Guy in New Zealand but not everyone in the world is aware of the friendly man who likes to remind us we need to enrol to vote.

Famous US comedian Paul F. Tompkins made the mistake of insulting Orange Guy on Twitter calling him a "weird citrus golem".

Luckily, Jemaine Clement spotted the insult and decided to reply like a proper "sassy little hobbit", by reminding Tompkins of one thing that is worse than an orange mascot.
