The world's highest-earning Hip Hop artist will join the world's highest-earning band at their November 25th concert at Mt Smart Stadium.
Jay-Z, who performed Sunday Bloody Sunday with U2 in front of the Brandenburg Gate, Germany in November last year, has been confirmed for the one New Zealand and four Australian shows as part of U2's 360 world tour.
The announcement was made during an interview between U2 and Rove McManus on Australia's The 7pm Project tonight.
Despite the show featuring two of the biggest artists in the world, tickets will start from $39.90 when they go on sale on Friday September 3rd.
Jay-Z's last record, The Blueprint 3, was his 11th Number 1 album. He last performed in Australia in 2006 but has never performed in New Zealand.
