The ex-model and actress formerly known as Kate Fischer, now as Tziporah Malkah, has launched a bizarre attack on her ex-fiancé James Packer, labelling the billionaire businessman an "attention whore".

Malkah has been the subject of media attention this week since Woman's Day published paparazzi pictures of her alongside details of her current post-fame life.

Having embraced Orthodox Judaism, the former actress, model and socialite now lives a quiet life in Toorak, where she works as a therapist in an aged care facility.

Malkah responded to the initial wave of attention yesterday on her public Facebook page.

Posting a link to an tabloid article about her current post-fame life, saying that "'Kate got fat! Kate got fat! Kate got fat!' is older news than Moses," and that while she's no longer interested in being a public figure, "I've noticed a bit of interest in this page in the last 24 hours so I thought I'd say G'day!"

Today, her posts to the page have taken an angrier tone - with much of her anger directed at James Packer, her partner for seven years until the pair broke off their engagement in 1998.

Packer, who married twice after his engagement to Malkah (then Fischer), is currently engaged to pop superstar Mariah Carey.

He has not made any recent public comment regarding Malkah.

Malkah turned her back on the limelight around a decade ago, embracing Orthodox Judaism, legally changing her name and embracing a new career out of the public eye.

By contrast, Packer's high-profile wedding to pop diva Carey is set to be documented in an eight-part reality series, Mariah's World, screening on E! in December.
