Late night television king James Corden has delivered a scathing review of New Zealand, describing the country as a "little bit boring".
The host of CBS' smash hit show The Late, Late Show with James Corden made the comment while interviewing actor Bryce Dallas Howard about the Disney-produced Pete's Dragon movie, which was filmed in the South Island - primarily in the small town of Tapanui.
Dallas Howard stars in the film which is expected to be a box-office hit.
"New Zealand ... it's a little bit boring," Corden told his guest.
Corden said climbing up and down hills was necessary for any ventures around New Zealand.
