It's time to travel the world from the comfort of your local cinema. The Indian Film Festival presents dramatic-looking Hindi film Game, opening on Friday, which is described as a stylish action-thriller in the same vein as The Bourne Identity.
It's a whodunnit that takes the audience through five cities and many emotions. Michel Lecler's The Names of Love (reviewed here) follows a Jewish scientist who falls in love with a beautiful Algerian. It opened Critics' Week at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival to rave reviews.
And Michelle Williams' latest film Mammoth is out today. She plays the wife of Gael Garcia Bernal, conflicted between her swish New York lifestyle, her Filipino nanny's needs and her husband's business opportunities in Thailand.
MUSIC
The big news on the international front is that Usher is here for his rescheduled concert at Vector Arena on Tuesday. But if you're looking to expand your mind a little, check out producers PZ, Kaps and Flex who are pioneering the 3Beat movement and playing a show called the Annihilating Rhythm at Pull Bar on Cross St, Saturday.
As both PZ and Flex are from Christchurch, proceeds go to the Red Cross appeal. You can't find these tracks anywhere, so head along to hear them live.

Compu'er says no. Yeah buh'. Pleather in the Villarge. Projectile vomiting. Little Britain managed to get a smirk out of even the most purse-lipped viewer, and now the rotund bald guy who plays most of the ladies and his taller side-kick are back with a new round of sketches.
Or see how our paddocks fare as the sets of fashion shoots on America's Next Top Model. Thailand gave our Kiwi girls an elephant to pose with. We gave American could-be-models a daggy sheep.
OR..
Have one final hurrah on the deck on Saturday night before we wind the clocks back ahead of daylight savings. Clocks go back one hour on Sunday - so 3am becomes 2am. We're stuck with that till the daffodils tell us it's over.
