Jackie Collins was planning to reveal all about her "secret affairs" before she died.
The 77-year-old writer - who passed away over the weekend after secretly battling breast cancer for six years - was in the middle of writing her autobiography and promised it would contain juicy information, including a fling with a "very famous man".
Explaining why she was finally ready to speak out, Collins said: "As you get older you get wiser, I can do whatever I want - I don't give a sh*t about anything any more. As long as I have my family and my friends I'm happy.
"I'll talk about a couple of secret affairs I've had - one with a very famous man - which I think will shock people. We were destined to be together but when he was free I was attached and vice versa. I'm not going to write anything to wholly embarrass my children ... But there'll be some interesting things in there."
Collins also called her older sister, actress Joan, 82, her "best friend" and said they never competed against each other.
