She was celebrating her 46th birthday - and like any self-respecting pop star, Jennifer Lopez made sure she was going to be noticed.
The American singer and actress chose a particularly revealing outfit for her party at a New York nightspot.
Her custom-made cut-away black dress by designer Bao Tranchi featured see-through panels and served to show off her famous curves. Lopez, who performs under the name J-Lo, was joined by a host of stars and her 28-year-old boyfriend, dancer Casper Smart, at celebrity club 1Oak on Friday.
Earlier she had commemorated her special day by sharing on the internet a picture of herself celebrating her birthday when she was a toddler. The photo showed her in a crimson dress, smiling and posing in front of a white birthday cake covered with pink frosting flowers.
