Actress Jennifer Lawrence has slammed celebrity blogger Perez Hilton for posting leaked nude photos of her online, insisting he only removed the pictures from his website after fans expressed their anger.
The Hunger Games star was among dozens of famous women targeted by hackers who accessed cloud storage accounts and stole hundreds of private, intimate pictures, which were later published online.
Lawrence branded the leak a "disgusting sex crime," and is now taking aim at Hilton saying, "He took it down because people got p**sed, and that's the only reason why. And then I had to watch his apology. And what he basically said was 'I just didn't think about it'. I just didn't think about it is not an excuse. That is the exact issue itself."
Agents at America's Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are investigating the leak, while a lawyer representing a number of the female victims has urged bosses of internet search engine Google to help with the removal of the snaps from the web.
Other victims include Kim Kardashian, Kirsten Dunst, Scarlett Johansson and Rihanna.
