Best Film: United 93. Gripping, unforgettable and totally respectful.
Most Overrated Film: Brokeback Mountain. I nearly fell asleep.
Best Performance: Helen Mirren, The Queen. You would swear you’re watching the real person.Oscar Prediction: The Departed. The Academy owe it to Scorsese and its a weak year.

Borat. It’s the first movie I have actually laugh out loud at in a cinema.
Nick Pak
Film most likely to result in a trip to the dry cleaners: Borat
Film with plot most predictable within five minutes and characters most resembling cardboard cutouts: Sione's Wedding
Phil Ikenasio
Worst movie: Grudge 2. That movie was so bad that 'EVERYONE' leaving the cinema were thinking "I PAID TO WATCH THAT"?
Best comedy: Night At The Museum.
Barnaby Haszard Morris
Best: 'United 93' was top for me, but I very much enjoyed 'The Beat My Heart Skipped'. Top-notch cinema entertainment, another excellent subjective work by Jacques Audiard. Would've been 'Grizzly Man', but that was my top for 2005.
Worst: 'A History of Violence'. Unendingly stupid and not at all profound (was it really intended to be?). The kid is in the running for most ridiculous film character ever ("If I go to Sam about you, will you have me whacked?"), with William Hurt close behind.
Matt Kerly
I'd never usually dream of giving a franchise film the title of 'My Film Of The Year', but Casino Royale did took Mr Bond to a higher eschilon of film making. It has also received several BAFTA nominations, including Best Actor- something no other Bond has done.

I'm not sure about the best, but the worst was unquestionably DOA ( Dead Or Alive. ) As I said to one friend, I don't think I have sufficient negative adjectives in my vocabulary to describe how utterly awful it is. To another, I advised him that it was only worth seeing if someone else downloaded it and burnt it to DVD for him - it's not even worth expending data allowance on.
